Safeguarding Policies and Information

Our Safeguarding Policy has been developed in accordance with the principles established by the Children Acts 1989 and 2004; the Education Act 2002; and in line with government publications the Teachers' Standards 2012, 'Working Together to Safeguard Children' 2013 and 'Keeping Children Safe in Education' 2014.

We also have a Whistle Blowing Policy which outlines the action to take should you have any safeguarding concerns.

For more information on keeping children safe, the NSPCC website is particularly useful resource with lots of information, guidance and advice on e-safety and keeping children safe. Their 'Talking Pants' page teaches children important message, like their body belongs to them and they should tell an adult if they are worried or upset.
